Hey all!

It's been quite a while and--as per usual--a very hectic few months. The seasons are changing and so I've been getting a little sick here and there, I also did some traveling to visit friends and family, NYCC happened up here in New York and it nearly broke me for two weeks straight, I'm still working hard on my new project for Oni Press, and lastly I still have my great full-time job at comiXology, which brings me to my next point:

Our great HR team as well as our executives have spent quite a bit of time updating our employee handbook and have implemented a few new policies. So from here I'm going to be including a wee disclaimer at the bottom of my journals that goes a little something like this, "The views expressed here on this personal page and in comments throughout DeviantArt are the opinions of Kate Kasenow and do not represent the views and opinions of comiXology. Please direct all questions on the subject of comiXology to its business website: [link]"

Basically guys, this is a site for my art and my art alone, so take questions about comiXology to the comiXology site and we'll all be much better for it!

PS. Sorry I don't have any new art to accompany this rather heavy message--but I'm still in the early production stages for my book and a lot of it isn't ripe for sharing just yet. Between work and work and trying to have a personal life, I don't get much time for fun stuff, but soon as I have something to show I will definitely show it! That being said, I have a rather huge chunk of stuff from my sketchbook that will be uploaded tonight, so keep an eye on my sketchblog ([link]) and my tumblr ([link]) for updates of a sketchy nature!
